Guided tour of Yverdon-les-Bains

"During a weekend spent in the Yverdon-les-Bains region, we could not pass up a guided tour of the old town. Through the charming streets of the city, we discover its 6,000 years of uninterrupted history: the ruins of Eburodunum (name of Yverdon in the Roman era, of Celtic origin), the Savoy castle from 14th century , the church and the town hall from the 18th century. After a coffee break on a terrace at the Place Pestalozzi, we hesitate between museums and galleries offering high quality exhibitions. Our two evenings are already set aside for the Benno Besson Theatre and for the thermal baths. What a program!  A weekend is not enough to fully explore this amazing town! "
