Guided tour, Orbe

"I never thought that Orbe was such a pretty town. It's easy to forget that it is located in the heart of the Yverdon-les-Bains region. I discovered its history: the two medieval towers (vestiges of the castle), the covered way, the oldest perfectly preserved bridge in Switzerland are just some examples. And the view over the plain of the Orbe from the castle esplanade is amazing! You can also see the Nestlé factory complexes further down, and the wind that day brought the smell of roasted coffee to the town's streets. I was really delighted by my visit."
