Museum of Fine Arts, Solothurn

"The small but perfectly formed Museum of Fine Arts in Solothurn always lures me to pay another visit. On the first floor, I admire the collection of Swiss art from the middle of the 19th century onwards, including the impressive works of Hodler, Buchser, Amiet, Frölicher and others. I also like to look at the Old Masters collection, especially the “Madonna among the Strawberries” from around 1425 and the “Solothurn Madonna” by Hans Holbein from around 1522. I also like to visit the alternating exhibitions on the ground floor, where I always make some interesting discoveries."
