"Who would think of Mont-Vully as a place for cattle to spend the summer in the mountains? I would, because when I was a child, every spring my father and I would take the tractor and drive our cattle up onto the mountain, where it was looked after by a herdsman through the summer. Today I go up onto “our” mountain to enjoy the magnificent view. The 360° panorama of the three Jura lakes, the Jura mountains, the Great Marsh and the Alps is terrific. I enjoy a gentle stroll on the many themed paths; it is particularly nice in late autumn on the wine trail, where you can sometimes find some forgotten grapes on the vines!"
