"At the south-eastern tip of Lake Neuchâtel lie the nature reserves of Chablais de Cudrefin and Fanel. These places are a sanctuary for wildlife. To raise the general public’s awareness of the region’s natural treasures, a nature centre has been opened in the La Sauge area. Besides the interactive exhibition, you have the chance to walk among ponds, borderlands and forests, passing through spaces created for the wildlife and plants. There are look-out posts so you can admire the animals without disturbing them. Wait patiently and nature will work its magic: kingfishers, mischievous tree frogs, twirling dragonflies and other rare and endangered species are all breeding in these places."
