"After hearing lots of interesting things about the village of Ins, we set off together to visit an oven house. There are seven oven houses left in Ins, some of them still in operation. Two women from the oven house association were already busy topping the thin dough base so we could satisfy our cravings with a potato and salt cake. The food was served with a local white wine. It was an absolute highlight to taste this delicacy and to watch the traditional speciality being made."

Info
Ins is situated on a terrace on the edge of the Great Marsh. From there you can enjoy the breathtaking views over Lake Biel, Lake Murten and Lake Neuchâtel. Beside cozy farm houses visitors will also find beautiful patrician houses which remind us that Ins is the bridge between the French and German parts of Switzerland.
