"It was once a forgotten house deep in the undergrowth. One day, due to the tenacity of admirers and magician craftsmen, it was awoken – and revealed – shining in the sun and vibrant with poetry. It was then I (re)discovered the Maison blanche, built in 1912 by Charles-Edouard Jeanneret, later known as Le Corbusier, for his parents. I immediately admired the daring of a young man who used this first house as a laboratory, the premises of the genius of the most famous architect of the 20th century. I know intimately that the Corbusean man is in his place there, under a protective roof and in tune with nature. Thank you Corbu!"
