"As soon as I sit down on one of the terraces at the Pestalozzi square, I am fascinated by its special atmosphere and rhythm. The bustling city life awakens with the first sunrays touching down on the castle square, and right now is the time for a drink before lunch. I am still deep in thought remembering my morning walk in the nature reserve of the Grande Cariçaie and I can still see the children running along the paths through the moors which belong to the Pronatura Center of Champ Pittet. For this evening I have planned a relaxing visit to the thermal spa and I might have a drink at the bar of the famous Grand Hotel des Bains. But before that I must absolutely visit the science fiction museum „Maison d’Ailleurs“, to learn about utopias and extraordinary journeys – speaking of which, you might call my visit to this city with all there is to discover there an extraordinary journey!
