"Experience the life of the first farmers who lived almost 5,000 years ago on the shores of Lake Neuchâtel. This authentic reconstructed village presents the lifestyle of our distant ancestors through a variety of workshops and demonstrations. You can learn how to make a knife out of flint or light a fire without matches. You can also test your skill with Neolithic weapons. For visitors hoping to explore the region a little more, the lakeside village offers the chance to spend the night in teepees, just as the hunter-gatherers would have done thousands of years ago."
