“When Françoise drove us to the start of the cross-country skiing pistes in her blue van, we were immediately overcome by the view: the ridge of the Jura with Chasseral and the wind turbines at its heart. We felt at one with the landscape, completely carefree. All our hotel bookings had been taken care of and our personal belongings were transferred for us from one hotel to the next. Every hotel had its own character and charm; we chose a good standard and gourmet meals! We were also won over by the beautiful plateau of the Franches-Montagnes, which is basically the Mecca of cross-country skiing with its beautiful pistes that wind their way between the fir trees and the Jura farms. A big thank-you to all, we will be back to do the Trans’Jura again.”
