"Today is my day of pampering, which is why I have rented an e-bike for the trip around Lake Biel. I start in Biel/Bienne right in front of the station and follow the cycle route towards Erlach. To begin with I have to keep to a leisurely pace as there are many hikers on the path. Afterwards I have the chance to enjoy the “electric power boost” as it almost doubles my own speed. It is a great feeling, almost “flying” through the wonderful landscape at 35 km/h (22 mph). After Erlach, I take on the second stage to the other side of Lake Biel. Between the blue waters of the lake and the “geometrical” green of the vineyards, I ride effortlessly back to Biel/Bienne. A pleasure that I can only recommend!"
