"It is settled – I throw myself into the water. At Estavayer-le-Lac, the Mecca of wakeboarding, I set off for an introduction to water skiing. At 800 metres in length, this unique cable water skiing facility in Switzerland gives the pros a great ride and brings beginners out in a cold sweat. My aim: to get out of the water – with my head held high if possible! The sensible advice from the instructor will be much appreciated. The water sports centre offers a wide range of activities on the lake: pedalos, sailing, canoeing, water games. So I will be able to find further enjoyment after my exploits. All the same, sipping an iced tea on a deckchair or enjoying the fine sandy beach wouldn’t be too bad either..."
