"After a delicious lunch at the St. Peter’s Island hotel and restaurant, I set off on foot with a colleague and her two little girls to explore the peninsula and the Moorland Path. Just one walk around the island and we were already on the Moorland Path. After about half an hour and half-way along the path we reached the so-called “Chüngeliinsel” (rabbits' island). We were astonished to read that rabbits still live here, though unfortunately we did not see any. Further towards Erlach, the children were delighted by the nature trail. On a wooden boardwalk through the marshland, we saw countless ducks and birds among the reeds and scrubland."
