"From Le Locle, we headed for the restaurant at the Model Farm. The route took us along an unsealed road to a junction where we left our mountain bikes behind to walk down 50 meters to the splendid lookout of L’Escarpineau. The road that then took us to the restaurant at Roches-de-Moron is the only technically challenging part of this circular route. Les Roches de Moron is a good spot for a break, and it also offered us another glimpse of the river Doubs. We stopped off during the long descent that follows to make a small detour to the Châtelot Dam. Then we headed for Le Saut du Doubs where we admired the breathtaking waterfall. From here, there is a long climb back to Les Brenets and Le Locle along an asphalted road."
