"Undeterred by the prospect of riding 42 km by mountain bike, we set off on this trail. It is a versatile route that anyone can manage if they take their time. Riding from Saignelégier towards Les Cerlatez, we drop by the Etang de la Gruère, which is always worth a trip! At Le Cernil, we cross some wonderful pastures reminiscent of the Far North before reaching the village of Les Bois. What a change of scene - you really feel like you are in the heart of the Franches-Montagnes. Unbeatable! The Peu-Péquignot is an ideal place for us to stop and enjoy a regional speciality. Let's not be over-confident, though: we still have to manage the climb over Les Sommêtres before getting back to our starting point."
