"For our 40th wedding anniversary (how time flies!), our daughter had the great idea of introducing us to the Jura. My husband and I love to go walking and explore our beautiful country. Although we are from French-speaking Switzerland, more specifically Vaud, we know very little about the canton of Jura. We received a gift voucher for a night in a gîte with a meal and carriage ride. Our "chauffeur" drove us through the wonderful scenery to a picnic spot where we grilled some sausages from Ajoie. Discovering the area at a horse's pace like this was a great idea of our daughter's - and a very romantic one, too."
