"Touring the Bernese Jura in a gypsy wagon was something I’d never considered. Some friends suggested it to us so we set off for three days on a Friday in September. Our little convoy criss-crossed the Franches-Montagnes plateau. Between lunchtime picnics, a bit of walking and mastering the gypsy wagon, the time went very quickly. This lovely feeling of contentment lasted until the end of the splendid meal we were served at the farm-hotel where we and our horse spent the night".
